 My husband is disabled due to diabetic neuropathy and hasn't walked in years. He gets SSI however, every time we turn around, it is being lowered. Currently it has been reduced to 430 and our rent is 600. I work for McDonalds at 7.57 an hour. We can barely pay our billd. Our foodstamps have been lowered to 94 a month which won't even buy food for one week.

 Our car became inoperable in February. We have not had one since. As a result, my husband hasn't been to the doctor or the grocery store since because he doesn't want ot be pushed all over town and ruin his wheelchair. It also is hard on me. There are no programs in Florida to hedlp people like us nor are there any companies that will help low income people who have bad credit and no money for a carf payment.

 We have both reached the limit. Having spent all of our lives struggling while people from other countries are given everything under the sun is disheartening. All I aask for is someone who will donate a decent car to us so that I can get a better job and get my husband to the doctor for his medicine. We have one son who can drive me to the store however he will be in Germany for three weeks with the National Guard and his truck is a stick shift so I have no way to get to the store to feed my husband. I don't care if I eat, we don't have the money for both of too but I do need a way to get him food.

Please, Help my Dog, Her name is Midnite!! She is only 5 yrs old She is ALL I have in this World !! She has a badly injured Knee...She needs surgury !! I have always taken her to the same veternarian for all her shots and check ups. She is lame. After being bullyed by a larger dog.  I am destroyed , I'am emotionally ruined...I Love her so much, She is a sweet loving dog ," MIDNITE IS MY LIFE"  I am also Disabled. I am a single mother of 53 with a 13 year old.  I have no job, no home, no transportation, am living with my parents, and having to deal with an out of control teen.  I need help, but no-one has any way to do it.  I am trying to get back on my feet, but all I get it the runaround, statements such as, "sorry, I can't help you," or "I don't know what to do for you, try ___________.  They might help you."  When I try for emploment.  I am always asked if I have reliable transportation and being hosest, I say no.  They reply, "I'm sorry, I need someone I can depend on."  Nevermind the fact that I am a good worker willing to do what I must to get the job done.  I'm tired of this merry-go-round I'm on.  It never ends.  Please, help me become a model citizen for others to follow.

Hello. I'm writing to ask for help for the first time in my life. I have had a really hard life but worked as much as possible in this poor economy, now I can't work due to back problems from an injury while working.

The girl ive been with for 7 years works but isnt enough to pay all of the bills while i stay at home with our new 8 month old son. We purchased a home that looked liveable, put 8,000 dollars into it because further inspection, noticed that the whole frame was rotted and there is mold everywhere. We are tapped out of funds and our son came a month early before i could finish rebuilding the home the best i could, barely sleeping nor eating. This was all covered up when we moved in (hidden). we have no family and the neighborhood is nowhere to raise a child. people get murdered and the drug traffic is horrible. So we have nobody to turn to for help. we have lived in a tent 3 times in our lives due to jobloss. now that we have a son, im trying to keep us from living on the streets again. I can go on and on with all the pain and suffering we have been through and still are going through but i dont feel its neccesary. Im asking for some kind of help. We are in desperate need of a break in life and hope that you can help us. We recently got on our feet but then it all got taken from us when we lost our car to an accident. We dont hand with people because we lost our faith in them due to constant theft or drama. my main goal is to take care of my family and thats why im writing you right now. Please help me so i can make a better life for my family and suround them with better people and opportunities.

I am on disability and work part-time.  I am getting 8 hours a week at work.  My husband decided to divorce.  Therefore, I can no longer make my mortgage payments.  I DO NOT want to lose my home either. I tried to do a modification and nothing was ever done.  I have a mortgage with Chase.  Currently I have my house up for short sale.  PLEASE HELP

I am writing all of you for help for my daughters plus 2 grandbabies. I am disable. I have hepc and ra and very high anxiety which I have been in the hospital for alot. I do not own where I live, I Rent. My whole check goes to rent and lights. God knows I know there are more out there like myself. But I have a 15 yr old daughter, a 9 yr old daughter, as well as a 7 yr old grand daughter and 6 yr old grandson. I have never ask for help before, but I am at that point I have too. For more information about what we do visits the website, valleyofloveministries.org.  The reason I'm writing this letter is because something terrible happen to me, a young lady by the name of Vanessa Henriquez came to my office to work under commission, her job was to send letter out, & call big organization for donation, the first day she started, she took the ministry debit card and spend over thoursands of dollars, and she took 2 checks, one for 515 the other one 675.  I went to the pollice station make a report nothing happen to her, they transfer the case to the detective office, I want to see him, the detective went to Vanessa home, at first he say if she say that she did the transaction, she will get arrested, He call me the next day and say I went to see her, but she don't have any money, he going to have to send the case to the state, it can take anything bet, 5 to 6 months.  She took money I don't even have, all of my checks bounce just like a basketball, at the same time I lost my job, pls I am going crazy, Im 3 months behing for my office, he getting ready to kick us out, my car was repossess because of all this, my orphans in Haiti right now are homeless, the bank will not give back the money because I know her, they told me I have to take it to the pollice, and I did.  I have all the prove if any of you want to see it.  For more more information please call me at this number office 561 844-2400 cel. 561 502-8757

This is "The Raker".  I just want to know who is it that has to die before we all wake up to the TRUTH.  Our economy is largely dependent on who we place as President.

I have so many dreams, of all the things that could be done to stirr up this economy is pitiful.  Yet none are actually even coming close.  It pains me to see I am also suffering from the mishandling of funds gross over expenditures done by our own representatives.  The 'elite' group. 

I do believe the "elite" group has found a way around the system and we are paying their extravagant luxuries. 

We need more programs helping the CONSUMER, UNEMPLOYMENT benefits to those who do not qualify because they do not have 5 KIDS at home and another one in the belly!  To single parents, to Mom and Pop stores, to people who had their own biz and had to close. AMERICA MOVE IT AND SAY IT.

This is "The Raker" - did u know that the economic problem is 3/4 bigger than the statistics?  Why you say, because think about this, the government does not want us to PANIC.  The surveys they take are only for the people who qualify to take unemployment for the time they are taking unemployment.  What about the ones that do not qualify for unemployment anymore for many reasons. 

For example; the billions of Americans who made a good living with their Mom and Pop Stores? That raised their kids from that business?  The americans who were self-employed, sub-contractors, etc. But you do not hear the government address this issue.  Why because they are not going to give you money.  The money they have is to keep the FILTHY RICH on top buying the homes Mom and Pop after 25 years are loosing now because they have to pay EXPENSIVE INSURANCE to BIG INSURANCE companies who NEVER PAY CLAIMS, even under disaster.  BECAUSE these BIG INS. CO. do not have to place enough RESERVES to ensure catastrophic proportions.  So they are allowed to take UR MONEY AND MINE CLOSE TO $25k PER YEAR and when you need them, they can throw the arms up in the air and say I can not pay the CLAIMS.  It is unprecedented!!!!!!!!!

ARE THESE SIMPLE NUMBERS SCARING YOU, they should, THE ECONOMY IS A DOMINOE EFFECT.  What is the government doing to help the BACKBONE of this COUNTRY.  I miss the good TIMES.

hey yes THIS IS THE RAKER again... I JUST GOT AN IDEA we can call America "Homeless America" where the Bankers are the only ones that have homes.  U know the homes they took away from the public.  The credit they took from under your feet just as soon as OBAMA gave them BILLIONS to help them.  Probecitos....(poor ones) THEY needed the HELP more than us...(the backbone of this country).

Ever see a HUMAN BEING walk without a BACKBONE?  I know u haven't and I tell you why because it CAN'T.   OBAMA, OBAMA, ur speech just did not cut it, why don't you help the BACKBONE and stop throwing money in all THE WRONG PLACES.

Hi Mr. President, this is me, The Raker.  I loved ur speech.  I would have loved it more if it actually said something to address the real issue.  The real issue is JOBS.  The economy.  Not how much money can we save the FILTHY RICH who put you in office.  I have several and thousands of ideas.  It baffles me how your people have not come up with ideas.  Do you want to know "Why?".  It is called GREED.  See I have no GREED and therefore I can think CLEARLY.  It also helps that I have been GREATLY BLESSED BY GOD ALMIGHTY.  Yes everyone God Lives.  He is well and alive.  It may seem he has forgotten us.  But aren't we guilty of letting this country take his name off our schools, off our city buildings, off our hearts?  Look inside each one of you and tell me if he lives in you.

There are answers to our problem.  First things first, let's get OBAMA out of office ASAP.  Then let's not vote any more PETROLEUM guys UP IN OFFICE.  Then, let's look at someone who does not have any POLITICAL AGENDAS(U know special interests).  Let's see if he has another Milton Friedman as his right hand like Reagan.  Maybe someone like Reagan who had a GOOD heart to begin with, THEN maybe we may be on the RIGHT TRACK.  GOD HELP US ALL.

Is there anything in your UNCONSTITUTIONAL HEALTH CARE SHOVE UP PLAN that supervises the CLAIMS process for these BIG INSURANCE COMPANIES who lobby and SQUEEZE UR NECK!

IS ANYBODY going to VOTE for OBAMA.  After yesterday's posting he is TRYING real hard to LOOK GOOD to the public.  Even hugging a woman who is homeless! But did he give her money or food or save her home.... YOU KNOW the one he made sure it was foreclosed.   Because it is not the GREEDY brethrens he has, the ones that are pruning him to be the WORLD BOSS (One World Order).  The One World Order that assasinated the only POPE that did not agree with ONE WORLD ORDER, because if you read the BIBLE it is the END for us all.  We will ALL be INDIGENTS.... WITHOUT a home, without food, without a CAR, BELIEVE IT or not this is the GOOD TIMES!!!  We can Thank OBAMA.... for driving this COUNTRY a #1 to a less than #20 in the world.  BUT he wants everybody to FOCUS on Africa not the AMERICAN economy......GUESS WHY..... BECAUSE HIS DIRTY HAND IS ALL OVER IT!  our DESTRUCTION.  HOMELESS U.S.A. ..... come ONE come ALL!!!
